ASU's First Jazz Club...



Sun Devil Swing is where the music flows easy, and everybody’s got a seat at the bandstand, whether you can tear up a solo or you don’t know a treble clef from a train schedule.

We’re a club for the learners, the late-night dreamers, and the ones who feel the rhythm but haven't quite cracked the code yet. You don’t need to read music like a scholar or play like Duke—just bring your ears, your heart, and a little patience. We’ll take care of the rest.

Here’s what we do:
🎷 Jam Sessions – No pressure, no judgment, just cats helping cats find their sound.
📖 Music Basics – We break down the sheet music, the scales, the licks—slow and steady.
🎶 History & Listening Parties – You gotta hear where jazz has been to know where it’s goin’.
🎤 Gigs & Events – Eventually when were proficient on a setlist, we can start to play in public.

So if you’ve got a love for jazz and two good hands, come on in and let’s make some good frequencies together. The only wrong note is the one you don’t play.
